April 20th: Janis Siegel: “I’ll Take Manhattan”

 A nod to Manhattan Transfer  and Tin Pan Alley. Featuring Janis Siegel, a founding member of jazz vocal luminaries Manhattan Transfer. 9 time Grammy Award Winner, 17 Grammy Nominations. 9 solos records to her credit. Janis has been bringing jazz to worldwide audiences since the early 70’s, both as a highly acclaimed solo artist and in the company or world-renowned Manhattan Transfer.

May 25: Wyatt Michael

“A Nod to Sinatra, Bennett, Martin and Darin”

Wyatt Michael brings alive the songs

and sounds of these iconic singers.

Featuring vocalist Wyatt Michael, recently featured as a finalist on the television show The Voice.

Honoring the great new generation of jazz music composers and players. Playing the music of Herbie Hancock, Kenny Wheeler, Steve Swallow, Sean Smith and others.

July 20th: "The Originals"

The John Toomey Quartet performed and recorded together for almost 2 decades

They will be performing a program of original music from the band members.

August 17: Lori Williams: “Lori’s Jazz Lounge” 

Lori Williams has travelled the world singing jazz for over 30 years and was nominated for a 2014 Helen Hayes Award as an Outstanding Lead Actress in a Resident Musical for her role as Ella Fitzgerald. She has one of the most outstanding voices you’ll ever hear.  W John Toomey, piano; Jimmy Masters, Bass; Chuck Redd, drums.

 

September 14: “Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn”.

Music from this iconic songwriting duo. Duke Ellington was one of the most important voices in the history of jazz. Billy Strayhorn wrote some of the most memorable compositions performed by The Ellington Orchestra.
